Local Talent Community Exhibition

During my internship, I had an amazing opportunity to curate on my own. Kennedy Heights Arts Center puts on an annual exhibition called Local Talent Community Exhibition. I promoted the show by creating flyers and passing them around the community and visiting local businesses. I had full control for the layout of the show and installation. Through this experience I was able to learn how important communication is as well as promotion and marketing. I learned how to take control of situations and utilize skills such as problem solving and time management.
